DAY 1

Well Camp started off wonderfully.  After our opening session that laid out the week for us, we divided up into family groups that came up with their own team names.

Last night we looked at Hebrews 12:1-3 where it talks about the fact that we are SURROUNDED by such a great cloud of witnesses.  We were reminded that we are not ALONE in this thing called faith.  God himself is not alone and we are not alone.  We traced how God has ALWAYS been with us and that we are NEVER left alone by God.  We are also surrounded by friends, family, churches, youth groups, neighbors who SURROUND us in our faith walk and that we can lean on, depend on, care for, be helped by, be guided by in our walk with Jesus.
