View Article  .::GREETINGS FROM KENYA
Throughout the Semester we will be giving you greetings from Kenya from the Made in the Streets Students and Staff.  Here is the first installment for your enjoyment and encouragement:

I just want you to think about a few things:
1.  You help bring the good news to Nairobi when you put a few dollars in the basket in class on a Sunday.  You help girls like Jackie here to get to know Jesus and experience His love through MITS.  The sacrifices you make in order to give that moeny makes a difference in eternity!
2.  Be encouraged by her words.  The Bible tells us to encourage one another.  Jackie wants you to know that your prayers, your giving, your thoughts are appreciated.  If you haven't prayed for the MITS or given on a Sunday, then consider doing so today.
3.  Stay Connected to Jesus.  The students at MITS love Jesus.  They taught me all sorts of lessons about Christ through their attitudes, their examples and their singing!  They really understand what it means to worship.  They worship with passions and intensity.  They realize what a gift it is to have a church family and they also show me what it means.  So think of ways you can connect to Jesus during this season.  What parts of the Bible are you going to read?  Who are you going to encourage?

Daybreak Camp · Cost= About $200
Faith Development Camp is a week to bring students in touch with the power of God through Jesus Christ. Everything at FDC strives to challenge youth to develop their faith. The Bible can be confusing, and discerning God's call for our lives in this hectic world can be difficult at times. At FDC prayer muscles will be stretched and challenged as you lean on God for everything in your life. Our worship times are amazing experiences that give you the opportunity to come face to face with God.
