Maybe you aren't the school type. Maybe you don't even LIKE school. Maybe school isn't your THING. Maybe you just complain A LOT about school. Maybe you THINK you have it rough. Here is a video of a guy that I met in Nairobi whose job it is to cut rock down into the right size and shape for buildings. He taps and taps and taps at these rocks all day. It is hard, difficult, tiresome work.
Could you imagine doing this work every day, five or six days a week, all day? Can you imagine how your hands, arms and back would feel after a long day of work? Would you be able to get the sound of the tapping out of your ears?
How amazed were you by how square he was able to get the rocks?
Does watching something like this help you to appreciate your school more? Your teachers? Your ability and the options you have for almost ANY future? How blessed you are by God to enjoy education, to learn, toe be challenged?
Take this day to be THANKFUL for EVERYTHING you have!
Tell someone like a teacher, or a coach, or a parent, "Thank You!" for what they help you to become and what they teach you.
"give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." I Thess 5:18
