View Article  .::Cat Theatre!?!?!?
So I am riding my bike the other day and I look at the sign at the Heritage Theater and flashing on it are the words, "Moscow Cat Theatre."

Seriously.

Now those of you who know me know I don't care for cats.  I grew up with dozens and dozens of cats as a boy and I had my fill of them by the age of 14.  I am done with felines.  So to see a whole show that is devoted to cats performing is doubly bothersome to me.

Another thing about me is that I am old enough to remember when the Russians were our enemies.  They had a tons of nuclear weapons pointed at us and we had (or have) a ton of nukes pointed right back and both of our fingers are just inches away from The Button (See the movie "Wargames" if you are wondering what I am talking about).  They were The Enemy before 9/11.  So Russian Cats make me a little uneasy, not to mention that they are going to be right down the street from where I live.

Maybe you have tickets, and if you do, please don't tell me that I missed out.  I am glad to not have tickets.  I want to be a dog man, but Amy is allergic.  So we are petless.  To make matters worse, Madeline is asking, and asking, and asking for a cat for her birthday.  I am resisting and resisting, and resisting and still trying to be a loving father to her.  Man it is hard to stand my ground and present myself as caring and concerned for her needs and desires.  So I would appreciate your prayers for me.

Cats...what a waste of organic material.
