Join us for a cake & punch reception to honor our graduating class of 2007.  We will take a trip down memory lane, give advice, share memories and pray over them as we launch them in to the next phase of their lives.

As I heard the first few notes of the Greater Atlanta School Choir this morning I was reminded that there is something special about LIVE music.  It truly is a form of ART the we don't get to experience as much as we ought to.  Art is one of those things that really, truly ties us to God.  God by nature is a creator and creative.  God created everything, so when we create through music, painting, writing, song, photoshop, dance, theatre, graphic design, sculpture, drama, etc., we are reflecting a character of God.  Art of any kind is a pure form of worship.  I hope that you were dialed in to something truly spiritual as you heard them sings songs, hymns and spiritual songs.

VANTAGE POINT STUDENT LEADERSHIP TRAINING

THE NEXT MEETING IS TOMORROW SUNDAY, MAY 20thth DURING LATE SERVICE IN WALTER'S OFFICE.  YOU NEED TO GO TO EARLY SERVICE< HANG OUT AT CLASS AND THEN GO TO THE MEETING.

Vantage Point is for students who want to take their faith to the next level.  It is about becoming a servant of others instead of the served.  It is about becoming the kind of leader the Jesus wants you to be.  This might be an in-front of people kind of leader as well as a "behind the scenes" kind of leader.  Vantage Point is about developing the different skills that help you further your walk with Jesus. 

We meet about twice a month for ministry and skills training, planning ministry events, and praying together for the student ministry.

This Wednesday, we are going to have our annual Alumni/Senior Sanctuary.  This is going to be a time when we all welcome our alumni back for a time of serious hard-core worship.  We will hear what life is like after youth group from our alumni and then we will hear advice and memories from our graduating seniors as they are about to move on in life.  So make plans to be there because you will not want to miss out  Don't Forget Your Bible.
